PRINCIPLES
- Lancashire RFU is responsible for the growth, support and promotion of Women's Rugby in Lancashire.
- Women's Rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and Lancashire RFU want to ensure women across the North West have inclusive opportunities to play and improve thier skills.
- Lancashire RFU encourages all its members clubs to promote the development of players' personal and social skills as well as athletic abilty, to instill in the players a love of the game and a lifelong involvement in Rugby. In thier delivery of rugby, Clubs and Coaches should adhere to the RFU Codes of practice and promote the core values of TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, DISCIPLINE, SPORTSMANSHIP.
WAYS TO PLAY
Rugby is a game for everyone. A Rugby team has all shapes and sizes. Rugby is a social sport that is open to all, with a range of formats to suit all abilities and ages. You may have played before and are looking for a new club to play competitive full-contact. Maybe you fancy trying some summer Touch or Sevens, or you may be new to the game and interested in non-contact T1 Rugby or Walking Rugby. PLAYER REGISTRATION
To play rugby in England all Male and Female, Age Grade and Adult players are required to register annually on RFU GMS
