SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
Every member of the rugby community has a right to respect, safety and protection. Safeguarding is a collective responsibility and refers to the measures taken to protect children and adults from harm, abuse, and neglect, to ensure a safe, positive environment for all.
Reporting Concerns
The RFU has established policies, procedures, and guidance to address safeguarding concerns effectively.
Any individual aware of a potential safeguarding concern should report it to the RFU Safeguarding Team or, in cases of immediate danger, to the police or emergency services.
Support and Guidance
The RFU provides resources and training to clubs, coaches, and other personnel to help them create safer environments and respond appropriately to concerns.
