Congratulations to Stonyhurst College who overcame Scarisbrick Hall School with a superb performance in the Lancashire Rugby Schools U18 Cup Final, in front of a big crowd at Fylde RFC last night.

A physical, competitive first half contest saw Scarisbrick take a 10-12 lead into the interval with tries from Joe Sanson and Louise Galichet converted by Toreen Butters-McNaught. Will Hannah added a further try to the Scarisbrick tally, but Stonyhurst took control in the second half through tries from Samson Oeke-Ewo, Freddie Dunne and Henry Range, with Man of the Match Tom Gaffey adding four conversations and a penalty to secure a 31-17 victory.
