Lancashire RFU is the governing body for Rugby Union in the historic County of Lancashire.

Established in 1881, we represent over 80 clubs and are proud to be 25 times English County Champions.

Our unifying purpose is to bring people together to enjoy Rugby.  We do this by organising competitions, fielding successful County representative teams and supporting our member clubs, schools and universities to grow and sustain a passionate, thriving game in Lancashire.

On our new website, launched in August 2025, you will find guidance on regulations, discipline and safeguarding, alongside details of our members, matches, meetings and much more.  Our ambition is to build an online home for Lancashire Rugby in all its forms.  This platform is pioneering work in progress and we welcome your feedback on it.  If you can’t find what you need, or you find a glitch in its operation, please use the ‘Contact us’ tab to send a message to one of our Officers.
